What to Expect During Your Visit

Smiledesign is all about customisation. And that’s why we take the time to understand your dental issues and create a solution that fits your facial features. Usually, this involves veneers, though we’ll also incorporate other teeth straightening or correction solutions wherever necessary.

FIRST VISIT

Impressions and pictures

During your first visit, we will take detailed impressions and pictures of your teeth.
This initial consultation focuses on discussing your smile goals and concerns.
We’ll create a treatment plan tailored to your specific dental needs, presenting various options for improving your smile.

SECOND VISIT

Preparation of teeth and mock-ups

We will present the initial smiledesign proposal using a meticulously crafted 3D model.
Once you approve the design, Dr. Ong will prepare your teeth for the new smile. This process typically does not require anaesthesia.
Temporary mock-ups will be applied to your teeth, allowing you to visualise and experience your potential new smile immediately.

THIRD VISIT

Fitting of dental veneers

Approximately 10-12 days later, your customised porcelain veneers will be ready for fitting.
During this visit, Dr. Ong will carefully remove the temporary mock-ups and fit the permanent veneers onto your teeth, contouring them as necessary.
You will be able to see and feel your new smile, crafted to enhance both aesthetics and functionality.

FINAL VISIT

Follow-up and fine-tuning

After the fitting, we recommend a follow-up appointment within one week to ensure your new smile is perfect.
Any necessary adjustments or fine-tuning will be made to ensure your comfort and satisfaction.

A graduate of the National University of Singapore (NUS) and with nearly a decade of international experience in London, Dr Ong is known for his work in smiledesign. His passion for transforming smiles has seen him work on numourous complex dental cases.
